COUDERSPORT — Death, taxes and Coudersport being on top of the North Tier League.
A few days after its girls team captured a fourth straight NTL crown, the Coudy boys easily dispatched Austin 85-41 to win their fifth consecutive title.
Dillon Keglovits led the Falcons (17-3, 14-1) with 15 pounds and 10 rebounds. Coudy’s Travis Gleason earned game-high honors with 18 points, while teammates Kolby VanWhy (15) and Hayden Keck (13) were also in double figures. Gleason added eight rebounds and Keck had four steals for Coudy, which bounced back from last Tuesday’s loss to Cameron County.
Leading 43-28 at halftime, the Falcons exploded on a 22-5 run out of the break to put the game away.
Parker Glover poured in 15 points for Austin (10-11, 5-10) and Jackson Glover had eight points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals.

Port Allegany 71, Galeton 41
GALETON — A month after scoring 45 points in his team’s first matchup against Galeton, Port Allegany’s Howie Stuckey was at it again with a 36-point performance to send his Gators to a convincing win.
Stuckey drained seven 3-pointers — including five over the first eight minutes — to push Port A (9-12, 8-7) to a 23-8 advantage after the first quarter.
Jordan Card added 16 points for the Gators, which have won four of their last six NTL games.
Noah Schutt paced Galeton (0-20, 0-15) with 17 points. Teammate Ty Stover chipped in eight.
D9 League
Elk County Catholic 48, St. Marys 39
ST. MARYS — A balanced scoring attack and some stellar first half defense sent the Crusaders to another tight victory over their crosstown rival.
Mark Kraus had 10 points for Elk County Catholic (20-1, 8-1) to lead all scorers, but Will Uberti (9 points), Isaac Wortman (7), Ben Hoffmann (6) and Leo Gregory (6) were also around the basket for the Crusaders.
Trailing 26-13 at halftime, St. Marys (5-15, 2-8) made a spirited comeback bid in the third. Behind four points each from Nick Catalone and Mitchell Reiter, the Dutch trimmed ECC’s lead to five, 34-29, heading into the fourth.
And despite missing seven free-throws over the final eight minutes, the Crusaders held on to sweep St. Marys on the season.
Reiter had a team-high 10 for the Dutch, while Catalone and Luke Lasko had eight each.

Ridgway 53, Brockway 42
RIDGWAY — Trailing 16-8 after the first quarter and by three points, 24-21, at halftime, the Elkers went on a torrid final 16 minutes offensively to dispatch AML South rival Brockway.
Zack Zameroski led Ridgway’s (14-6, 6-3) comeback bid in the second half, scoring nine points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth en route to a game-high 19 tallies.
Teammate Matt Dush knocked in 10 of his 15 points after halftime, and Dan Park was a steady contributor with 13.
For Brockway (6-14, 3-7) Alec Freemer had 12 and Marcus Copelli 11.
