COUDERSPORT — A Galeton man is in Potter County Jail facing charges that include aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors related to incidents that allegedly occurred between January 2016 and December 2018.
According to Coudersport-based state police, John McCullough, 58, of Galeton, was arraigned Wednesday in District Court after an investigation was conducted related to incidents involving a 14-year-old female.
Police reports indicate McCullough was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child and unlawful contact with a minor, all first-degree felonies; two counts of aggravated indecent assault, a second-degree felony, corruption of minors, a third-degree felony and two counts of indecent assault, misdemeanors.
He was remanded to jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
