SMETHPORT — A Smethport man pleaded guilty to allegations he had unlawful contact with a 5-year-old.
Frank P. Deblaso, 37, entered a plea Thursday in McKean County Court before President Judge John Pavlock to charges of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old and corruption of minors, both third-degree felonies.
According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on at least two occasions, Deblaso touched the 5-year-old victim inappropriately.
A sentencing date will be set by subsequent order. Deblaso must have a sexually violent predator evaluation before he can be sentenced.
Pavlock said that Deblaso will have to register as a sex offender for his lifetime.
