The Bradford Area Public Library will hold its Story Seekers program at 11 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays during February.
The activities are for children ages birth to 5.
During the program, the library offers a variety of literacy activities that include reading, writing, talking, singing and playing. A new story is offered each week with play experiences that encourage active learning and inspire the imagination. Children have opportunities to create their own stories using art materials, building blocks, dramatic play, and music and movement.
During the month of February, the Story Seekers will talk about parrots, kangaroos, walruses and ice skating.
Story Seekers are invited to the library’s Valentine’s Day party on Feb. 14. The group will read “Today is Valentine’s Day” by P.K. Hallinan and celebrate Valentine’s Day with crafts.
On Feb. 28, they will read “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss to prepare for Mike Morton’s visit on Feb. 29.
