Open Arms Church of Bradford will host its annual Big Game Party this Sunday, with the festivities kicking off at 6 p.m.
In addition to a big-screen presentation of the game, the event will feature free food, children’s activities, quarterly prizes, and a chicken wing sauce competition.
“The Big Game Party is a special event for us,” Open Arms Outreach Coordinator Annette Stark said. “There’s something for everyone to enjoy and share in the fun. Along with the football game, we have our annual wing sauce competition heating things up. We’re also offering activities such as crafts and a movie for families to enjoy together during the event.”
The event is free, and open to the public. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Open Arms Church is located at 1289 E. Main Street in Foster Township, 1 mile north of Walmart.
The church will provide a free bus service to those wishing to attend the Big Game Party at the following times and locations: University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Police Station, 5 p.m.; the bus stop at Barbour Street public housing, near the VFW Bradford Post 212, 5:05 p.m.; Marilyn Horne Hall, Marilyn Horne Way, 5:10 p.m.; and Tops entrance, 150 E Main St., 5:15 p.m.
