Career and Technical students from seven different training areas at Bradford Area High School traveled to New Castle Jan. 17 to compete in the District 10 Skills USA competition.
Nine of the 22 students who competed won medals, with six of them winning gold medals. Those students will now move onto the state level, competing April 15-17 in Hershey.
Those bringing home gold medals were Kate Huber (Advertising Design), Brandon Moore (Automotive Service Tech), Brianna Barger (Customer Service), Kyle Auteri (Extemporaneous Speaking), Dylan Austin (Maintenance & Light Repair) and Frances Tyler (Precision Machine Tech).
Silver medal winners included Haleigh Reid (First Aid and CPR) and Ethan Little (Medical Math).
Parker Geist received a bronze medal for Basic Health Care.
