At the conclusion of round seven in the Bradford Businessmen’s Chess League at School Street Elementary School, the team of Lang Surveying LLC leads the junior varsity division by half a point.
In second is the Dr. Wojcik team, and third place honors go to the Pharmacy at Union Square team.
The varsity is still hotly contested. Wood Chiropractic’s team has moved into first. Main Street Mercantile’s team is in second, and the team from Prestige: Watch & Jewelry holds third.
Other team rankings in the varsity division are E & M Engineers & Surveyors and Main Street Movie House, tied for fourth place; Hennard Construction, fifth place; A Slice of the 80s, sixth place; and Mrs. Claudia Caminite, seventh place.
In the JV division, other team rankings are Dr. Mark Caminite, Tasta Pizza and Williams Agency, tied for fourth place; Prestige: Awards & Engraving, fifth place; Burns & Burns, sixth place; Dexter’s Service Center, seventh place; Hamlin Bank, eighth place; Dr. Gonzalez, ninth place; and American Refining Group Inc., 10th place.
