A Cyclone man is in McKean County Jail for allegedly holding a gun on a woman during a dispute on Tuesday.
Jason Martin Conner, 35, of 222 Bingham Road, is charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, a third-degree felony; terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; DUI; harassment, a third-degree misdemeanor; disorderly conduct and careless driving, summary offenses.
According to a criminal complaint, state police were called to a domestic incident on Bingham Road where a woman reported that her boyfriend had held a gun to her head. When police arrived, Conner was not at the residence. The victim told police that he still had the gun with him, and gave the police permission to search the truck Conner was driving. She told them Conner was on his way back from the methadone clinic, the complaint stated.
When Conner arrived back at the residence, he was detained by police and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Conner told police there was no gun in the truck, but one was found in the center console, the complaint alleged.
Conner was arraigned before District Judge Bill Todd and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Jan. 30.
