KANE — Leadership McKean held its January “Entrepreneurship, Workforce, and Economic Development” session at the Kane Area Community Center on Friday.
Bradford Regional Airport Manager Alicia Dankesreiter participated in the program to discuss the economic development importance of infrastructure in the area, particularly the Bradford airport.
Dankesreiter reviewed infrastructure investments that have been made in the past and are ongoing to make available both multi-tenant space and site ready locations for new business. This year’s program was expanded to include entrepreneurship, as well as workforce and economic development to the program.
Earlier in the day, Bradford business owners and entrepreneurs Rob Huber, co-owner of Pure Tech LLC and Christen Dupre Davis, the new owner of Moments to Remember, talked to the group about their experience as entrepreneurs.
