ST. MARYS — The start of the Republican meetings for the year will be at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the K of C in St. Marys.
All Republicans, as well as anyone wishing to learn about the Republican party, are welcome to attend the meeting.
The agenda will include the minutes to the last meeting and treasurer’s report. At the meeting, an opening at the Executive Committee will be filled and there will be a report on the Jan. 11 Caucus meeting held in Clarion, as well as announcements of the candidates running in 2020.
Petition signing dates will be announced and plans for a general date for the party to host a petition signing at Tablespoons will be discussed. In addition, a free seminar by Americans for Prosperity will be announced with details given for those wishing to attend.
The Republican party stands for small government, low taxes, pro-life, pro-second amendment rights, following the Constitution and supporting law enforcement agencies, including Immigration and Customs Agents and the Border Patrol.
