SMETHPORT — A Port Allegany man was sentenced to a term in McKean County Jail for allegations he possessed multiple types of drugs with the intent to sell them.
Alex G. DeHaven, 27, of Port Allegany, received a sentence of 101 days to 18 months in McKean County Jail with credit for 101 days of time served for charges of conspiracy to possess with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and a summary charge.
DeHaven pleaded guilty Nov. 14 to allegations that on Sept. 21, he conspired with Renee Seger to possess with the intent to deliver methamphetamine, marijuana and Xanax.
Seger, who has not been convicted of any allegations in the matter, is scheduled to appear for a last-day-to-plea hearing in this case — along with two other separate cases — on Jan. 23. A fourth case against her was bound on Thursday to McKean County Court.
Also in court, Coty J. Redeye, 34, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Oct. 23, Redeye squeezed the throat of a woman, leaving red marks. He will be sentenced Feb. 13.
Kammi J. McKinney, 33, of Kane, was sentenced to seven to 14 days in McKean County Jail with credit for 21 days of time served and 11 ½ months of probation for a charge of defiant trespass and a summary charge.
Roland A. Good, 36, of Mount Jewett, pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked. Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy said that on July 2, Good drove when his driving operating privileges were suspended or revoked; he had prior alcohol-related driving while suspended offenses. He will be sentenced Feb. 13.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Eric B. Arnett, 32, of Duke Center, for DUI-controlled substance; and Abigail G. Maguire, 25, of Limestone, N.Y., Kate D. Feely, 40, of Bradford, and Daniel J. Kiser, 35, of Bradford, all for DUI-alcohol.
