A bus accident in early December in the Bradford Area School District is under investigation.
Superintendent Katharine Pude told The Era that “a child was struck by the front corner of a bus after exiting and while crossing to his home.”
Pude said the child did not suffer severe injuries, but she did not indicate the nature of injuries, if any.
“We are all thankful that the child did not receive any severe physical injuries and was taken by his parents to BRMC to be examined,” Pude said.
She explained the driver was placed on leave pending the investigation by the Foster Township Police.
She was not able to provide further details about the incident. Foster Township Police did not immediately return messages left seeking comment.
