RENOVO — Taylor Brewer scored a team-high 11 points, but Austin fell to Bucktail, 45-32, in non-league play Saturday.
Sari Setzer added seven points for the Lady Panthers (1-8).
Bucktail’s Kayla Probert scored a game-high 20 points. Bucktail led 24-11 at halftime and 41-18 after three quarters before Austin rallied back to within 13 in the fourth.
Austin travels to Otto-Eldred Friday night to resume North Tier League play.

MANSFIELD — Jersey Shore used a staunch defense to top Northern Potter 48-24 in the consolation game of the North Penn-Mansfield Tournament Saturday.
The Lady Panthers (1-8) scored just two points in the first quarter and trailed 20-9 at halftime. In the second half, Jersey Shore grew its lead en route to the 48-24 win.
Courtney Martin scored 10 points and went 4-for-4 at the charity stripe for NoPo, while Aubree Anderson added eight, including a pair of threes.
NoPo hosts Bucktail Thursday night in non-league play.

RIMERSBURG — Cameron County topped Sheffield 42-19 in the consolation game of the Union Christmas Tournament.
The Lady Raiders (3-4) were paced by Kaelee Bresslin’s 20 points. Bresslin hit five 3-pointers in the game. Teammate Hailey Hilfiger logged 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Cameron County visits Smethport Friday night for an NTL matchup. No further information was available to The Era.
