A Coudersport man is in Potter County Jail for allegations that law enforcement officials seized child pornography from his home.
David C. Haubrick, 54, is charged with 10 counts of child pornography and two counts of disseminating photographs/film of child sex acts, all third-degree felonies.
According to the criminal complaint, on Dec. 10, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at 240 Quimby Road, Homer Township. Officials viewed “numerous items of digital evidence” on scene, with “a multitude of images depicting child pornography” found.
The complaint decribed 10 files depicting child pornography that were found on a Sandisk thumb drive that was seized, as well as two images that were transmitted by Haubrick.
The complaint stated that Haubrick acknowledged to police that he was chatting on Microsoft Skype with usernames that are associated with child pornography uploads, as reported by Microsoft Skype. He also admitted that he used his home computer to save images of child pornography to thumb drives.
Coudersport attorney George Stenhach is listed as his attorney.
The law enforcement officer who filed the charges is a corporal with the Pennsylvania State Police Computer Crime Unit.
Haubrick is incarcerated in lieu of $100,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Thursday before District Judge Annette Easton in Coudersport.
