From Steve Disney, Executive Director at the Bradford City Water Authority:
“The precautionary boil water advisory imposed on us from the DEP on December 5th has immediately been lifted as of this moment Thursday December 12th. It is no longer advised to boil water.
All customers of the Bradford City Water Authority including the Townships of Bradford, Foster, Lafayette and the Borough of Lewis Run can resume normal operations.
The test results from each of the past three (3) days indicate what we have believed all along, that our water is safe and always was safe.
This has been an unnecessary hardship placed on our community by the DEP and we apologize for the major inconvenience, anxiety and economic impacts this has caused and we thank you for your patience.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Bradford City Water Authority at 814-362-3004.”
