The Bradford Businessmen’s Chess League resumed competition at School Street Elementary on Wednesday, with Lang Survey LLC in the JV and Hennard’s Construction in the varsity continuing to dominate the league.

In the varsity division, Wood Chiropractic is behind by half a point. Three teams in the JV are tied for second place: the Williams Agency, Tasta Pizza, and Prestige: Awards & Engraving.

Top individual scorer for board one in the junior varsity is Kadyn Tessena (captain for Dexter’s Service Center), while second place is a tie between Owen Troisi (captain for the Williams Agency) and Jamin Bell (captain for Lang Surveying LLC). Other top players in JV action include Owen Tingley (playing for Lang Surveying) and Lucas Wallace (member of the Prestige: Awards & Engraving team).

Highest individual scorers in the varsity are Todd Hennard (captain for Hennard’s Construction), Dr. Jason Wood, a sub for Hennard’s Construction, Coach Larry Causer (member of Main Street Mercantile), and Chris Bishop (member of Wood Chiropractic).
