PORT ALLEGANY — The S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library is extending the Food for Fine$ drive until Dec. 13.

For each nonperishable item that is donated, $1 will be deducted from your library fine.

Patrons without fines may also donate food to help a child patron pay down his/her fine.

Bring donations to the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library, 201 E Maple Street in Port Allegany. All food collected will be donated to local food pantries.

Bath and body items will go to the PAHS Gator Closet.
