PORT ALLEGANY — Open Arms Church will host its Christmas on the Square and Christmas Parade in Port Allegany on Dec. 14.
“We look forward to this event bringing the community together to celebrate our town and Christmas,” said Heather Postlewait, connections coordinator at Open Arms Port Allegany.
The parade will start at 1 p.m. along Arnold Avenue and will feature 4H groups, youth groups and many community members.
After the parade, free activities such as children’s crafts, hayrides, horse rides and Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus reading “Twas The Night Before Christmas” will be held on the Town Square. Free popcorn and free hot chocolate will also be available.
Several local vendors will be set up along the Town Square, selling their wares. Digital copies of professional Santa pictures will be available by donation.
