Grace Notes Studio of Wilcox and the Kane Historic Preservation Society are teaming up to present “Christmas Light.”

This concert of traditional classics and contemporary favorites will be performed by Grace Notes Studio Artists & Friends, a group of professional singers and musicians. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Thomas L. Kane Memorial Chapel, 30 Chestnut St. in Kane.

Tickets, which were made by The Laughing Owl Press, are $10 each and can be purchased in advance at Kane Lumber, SMP in Kane, or Grace Notes Studio in Wilcox. If the concert does not sell out in advance, tickets will also be available at the door.

This concert has become an annual event and helps to raise funds for the Kane Historic Preservation Society.

The concert will feature some talented local musicians. The performers are:

• Tracie Pretak of Wilcox — singer/songwriter/musician/recording artist/music teacher/owner of Grace Notes Studio;

• Bailey Pretak of Beaver — singer/songwriter/musician/recording artist/music teacher;

• Ross Bish of Ridgway — singer/musician/recording artist/conductor/music teacher;

• Lyndsey Weidow of St. Marys — singer/recording artist;

• Don Trenn of St. Marys — singer/musician/music teacher/conductor;

• Bekki Titchner of Ridgway — singer/songwriter/musician/recording artist/Fieldstone/Sleepwalker;

• Mark Titchner of Ridgway — musician/songwriter/singer/recording artist/Fieldstone/Sleepwalker;

• Hanna Ross of Mount Jewett — singer/alumni of Grace Notes Studio;

• Jenny Lynn Crowley of Mount Jewett — singer/recording artist/student of Grace Notes Studio;

• Marshall Hetrick of Johnsonburg — singer/songwriter/musician/recording artist/student of Grace Notes Studio;

• Alicia Kim of St. Marys — singer/musician/student of Grace Notes Studio; and

• Will VanSlander of St. Marys — singer/songwriter/student of Grace Notes Studio.

There will also be a kids’ choir consisting of students from Grace Notes Studio. Choir members are:

• Lani Ferguson and Jada Fitch of Johnsonburg;

• Brady Porter, Sam Galsick, and Claire Brechtel of Wilcox; and

• Anna Biondi and Darien Gess of Ridgway.

The recording artists will also have multiple CDs available for purchase. They make great gifts and perfect stocking stuffers for the music lovers on one’s Christmas list.
