At the end of round two matches in the 29th annual Bradford Businessmen’s Chess League at School Street Elementary School, two teams rose to the top: Hennard’s Construction in the varsity division and Lang Surveying LLC in junior varsity.

Just half a point behind in the varsity division is the Wood Chiropractic team. Three teams in the JV are tied for second place: the Williams Agency, The Pharmacy at Union Square and Prestige: Awards & Engraving.

Other varsity team rankings at the end of the second round are E & M Engineers & Surveyors and Main Street Mercantile, tied for third place; Main Street Movie House and Prestige: Watch & Jewelry, tied for fourth place; and A Slice of the 80s and Mrs. Claudia Caminite, tied for fifth place.

In the JV division, other team rankings are American Refining Group Inc, Burns & Burns, Dr. Wojcik and Hamlin Bank, tied for third place; Dexter’s Service Center and Tasta Pizza, tied for fourth place; Dr. Mark Caminite, fifth place; and Dr. Gonzalez, sixth place.

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no matches on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Chess will resume on Dec. 4.
