The Erie News Now Drive-Thru Holiday Food Drive is scheduled for Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This event, now in its 19th year, is an all-day food drive and fundraiser to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank and its member agencies.

All food collected at each location will remain in the community where it was collected. Monetary donations will help Second Harvest to alleviate hunger throughout northwest Pennsylvania.

Last year, a total of $40,832 and 38,444 pounds of food were collected. Donations during this all-day event will help Second Harvest to provide meals for those in northwest Pennsylvania who would otherwise go without this holiday season.

Monetary donations and non-perishable food donations only will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations locally:

Northwest Bank, 33 Main Street Bradford; Northwest Bank, 950 E Main Street- Bradford;

Northwest Bank, 56 Fraley Street-Kane; and Northwest Bank, 428 West Main St- Smethport.
