Recycling helps keep our neighborhoods clean and beautiful.”

America Recycles is touted as, “One day to educate, to motivate, to make recycling bigger and better.”
As of the first week of November, 79,930 have signed the recycled pledge. People have pledged to recycle the following: cartons, shampoo bottles, plastic bags and wraps, plastic bottles and caps, unwanted mail and mobile devices.
According to a tweet by America Recycles, “If every household in the U.S. replaced one package of virgin fiber napkins (250 count) with 100% recycled ones, we could save 1 MILLION trees.”
Another post explains that it takes three tons of trees to make one ton of virgin cardboard and suggest recycling empty boxes delivered with online purchases. Bubble wrap and other packing materials may be recyclable as well.
