RIDGWAY — A hunter who was reported missing at 9:39 p.m. Friday in the area of Bear Creek and Hallton Ridgeway roads in Spring Creek Township was found in good health.
Police did not release the hunter’s name.
According to police, a male called state police to report that his friend was lost in the woods. The caller had last seen his friend about 2 p.m. that day, and the friend was supposed to return around 4:30 p.m.
Elkland Search and Rescue and Ridgway Fire Department were dispatched to assist. They conducted an in-depth grid search and found the hunter about 2 a.m. Saturday.
