SMETHPORT — A woman accused in a rooftop standoff in August will serve a term in state prison for two cases.
Christina M. Lynn-Hamilton, 28, will serve seven months to two years in state prison with credit for 67 days of time served. She’s charged in one case with recklessly endangering another person and hindering apprehension and in the other case with hindering apprehension.
On Sept. 19, Hamilton pleaded guilty to allegations that on Jan. 9, she knew that Ryan P. Johnston, 27, was wanted on a felony bench warrant out of New York State but still concealed him in her home.
In the second case, Hamilton agreed to allegations that on Aug. 15, she climbed out an attic window, intending to flee or jump, knowing there were bench warrants for Johnston and her.
Johnston, who was also charged in the alleged Aug. 15 incident, as well as in a drug possession case, has last-day-to-plea conferences set for Oct. 31 in the two cases.
Some of the charges against Hamilton and Johnston were filed after a more than three-hour standoff at 217 South Ave., Bradford, that brought police and firefighters from several agencies out to assist.
