DUKE CENTER — After dropping the first game, Otto-Eldred recovered for a four-set (20-25, 25-17, 25-19, 27-25) victory over Coudersport.
The Terrors (14-6, 14-2) were powered by Emmalee Sheeler’s 23 assists. Morgan Dalton had 11 kills and six digs, and Haley Cousins added nine kills and eight digs. Reilly Raught finished with six kills.
For Coudy (10-8, 10-6), Addie Myers had 11 kills, Paige Watson racked up five points, nine aces and seven kills, and Vanessa VanWhy chipped in three kills and three digs. Mikayla Gunn provided 45 digs on the night.
“We were super excited to get (the win) in our house tonight,” O-E head coach Fawn Miller said. “It was a good game to get us ready to go into the playoffs.”
Oswayo Valley 3, Austin 0
SHINGLEHOUSE — Behind double-doubles from Trinity Lundy and Jadyn Brabham, Oswayo Valley easily cruised to a 25-10, 25-15, 25-11 sweep of Austin.
Lundy logged 15 points and 13 assists for the Green Wave (17-2, 15-1), and also added three aces and five digs. Brabham added 14 digs, 10 points, seven kills and five aces.
Also for OV, Avery Kellert notched 10 digs and eight kills, and Johanna Dickerson put up six kills, five blocks, five points and four aces.
Stats for Austin (0-16, 0-16) were not available.
Port Allegany 3, Northern Potter 2
ULYSSES — Port Allegany jumped out to a two-set lead before Northern Potter tied things up through four sets, but the Lady Gators held on in set five for a 25-20, 25-20, 15-25, 17-25, 17-15 road win.
Kalyn Naylor and Marah Rush had double-doubles for Port A (5-13, 5-11) as Naylor racked up 24 digs and 15 kills while Rush logged 23 assists and 10 digs. Maleah Daniels added 23 digs and six kills for the Lady Gators, and Jade Evans had 20 digs, six kills and five aces.
For NoPo (4-13, 4-12), Courtney Martin had 16 service points and 19 digs, while Savannah Herring had 10 kills and four blocks. Madison Hoopes posted 21 digs, and Megan Hyde had 19 digs and four kills.
Galeton 3, Cameron County 2
GALETON — After jumping out to a two-set lead, Cameron County couldn’t finish Galeton off in a 3-2 loss.
With the loss, Cameron County drops to 11-5 overall and in NTL play. Galeton improved to 11-6 overall and 10-6 in league play.
