A last minute application day for The Era’s Less Fortunate (ELF) Fund will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Bradford Area Public Library.
The ELF Fund Christmas gift assistance program is open to youth ages 17 and younger and senior citizens ages 60 and older. To be eligible, recipients should reside in the Bradford Area School District and fall into the WIC income guidelines.
Applicants are asked to bring all of the following: identification for everyone living in the home (such as birth certificates or photo IDs), Social Security cards for everyone living in the home and positive proof of income for everyone living in the home.
At the time of sign-ups, seniors will be asked for their gift request and pant/shirt/shoe sizes. Families will be asked for a toy and clothing request and pant/shirt/shoe sizes for each child.
