KANE — The 2019 Veterans’ Resource Fair will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Kane Community Center, 46 South Fraley St., in Kane.
Multiple agencies will be on-site to answer questions, provide information, and to meet with veterans face-to-face. Veterans service providers will be on hand, as well as educational providers, counselors, and employment specialist to assist veterans and family members.
Vietnam, Blue Water, Navy and Marine Corps veterans should attend for information on potential benefits available from their service during the Vietnam War.
Any veteran not currently enrolled in VA healthcare or are interested in speaking to eligibility representatives or a benefits counselor should bring a copy of their DD-214 service discharge papers. These representatives will be on-site and will screen for eligibility for VA services and benefits.
