High school students considering studying at Pitt-Bradford and their families are invited to open houses at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Oct. 19 and Nov. 2, where they will get a chance to meet faculty and coaches, tour the campus and learn about student life, admissions and financial aid during admissions.
Open houses begin at 12:30 p.m. with an opportunity to speak with faculty from across campus in the Frame-Westerberg Commons.
Representatives from the Housing Office and Seneca Battalion Army ROTC will also be available to answer questions.
On Oct. 19, Dr. Mary Mulcahy, director of the biology program, will discuss college academics and Nov. 2, the speaker will be Dr. Tammy Haley, director of nursing and radiological science. Following the talks, prospective students and their parents will have an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of a panel of current students.
Those who are unable to attend a fall open house can attend a Saturday open house on Jan. 25, 2020, or visitation day on Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). Visitation day activities begin at 10 a.m.
