COUDERSPORT — Coudersport exacted revenge for a four-set loss to Cameron County earlier in the season with a 25-11, 25-22, 25-16 sweep of the Lady Raiders on Tuesday.
Lauren Stimaker powered the Coudy (9-7, 9-5) offense with 27 assists and nine points, while Mikayla Gunn supplied the defense with 40 digs. Claudia Miller added 17 digs and 10 points, and Saran Atherholt posted four kills and three digs.
“We played together as a team the entire match tonight,” said Coudy head coach Brittany Foschia. “It was nice to get the seniors some extra playing time and get a three-set sweep after losing to them in four last time.”
For Cameron County (10-4, 10-4), Mallory McKimm had five kills, and Kaelee Bresclin added seven. Hailey Hilfiger logged five kills, 11 digs and three aces on the evening.
Oswayo Valley 3, Port Allegany 0
SHINGLEHOUSE — Behind double-doubles from four different players, Oswayo Valley rolled to a 25-11, 25-16, 25-14 sweep of Port Allegany.
The Green Wave (16-1, 14-0) picked up 13 kills and 16 digs from Avery Kellert and 10 kills and 12 digs from Jadyn Brabham. Mackenzie George added 11 service points, 15 assists and five digs, and Trinity Lundy posted 11 service points, 11 assists and nine digs.
Oswayo Valley now stands two wins away from a perfect NTL season, with matches against Cameron County and Austin remaining.
For Port Allegany (4-12, 4-10), Meleah Daniels had three kills and nine digs, Kalyn Naylor had eight digs and three kills, and Madeline Smith added two kills, three blocks and seven digs.
Smethport 3, Austin 0
SMETHPORT — Smethport earned its third win of the year with a 25-19, 25-20, 25-13 sweep of Austin at home.
MyKayla Deyarmin led the Lady Hubbers (3-14, 3-14) with 14 kills, six digs and four aces, and Alexis Shall added five aces, nine kills and six digs. Chloe Costa tacked on three aces and a team-high 19 digs.
For Austin (0-14, 0-14), Kendra Valenti and Taylor Brewer each had five kills.
