LEWIS RUN — A 71-year-old Eldred man died of natural causes this week, Lewis Run-based state police reported Monday afternoon.
Police did not release the man’s name.
According to police, at 9:08 a.m. Monday, the McKean County 911 Center notified state police of an unattended death on West Eldred Road in Eldred Township. The death occurred sometime between 6:50 p.m. Sunday and 9:08 a.m. Monday.
Police said that at the time of discovery, the man was pronounced dead due to natural causes. Assisting on scene were the EmergyCare Ambulance, Eldred Township Volunteer Fire Department, McKean County Coroner Michael Cahill and Frame Funeral Home.
