TOPS #16
The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held on Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church at 54 E.Corydon St., Bradford.
The meeting was called to order by President Vickie Johnson with the Tops and Kops Pledge.
The song was “Oh Give Me a Loss” to the tune of “Home on the Range.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Assistant Weight Recorder Barb Smead weighed in 26 members with a loss of 13.2 pounds. There were three staying the same, five members excused and three keeping a food chart.
Best Loser in Waiting is Nat Stoling and Officer of the Week is Vickie Johnson.
The secretary’s report was read by Secretary Sue DellaValle.
The household tip was by Chris McCracken, the inspiration by Dee Rhodes, the healthy foods by Elaine Harris, the fashion tip by Diane Lewis and the joke by Jeannie Miller.
The Nickelodeon is pudding. The food to avoid is candy. The fruit is pineapple and the vegetable is green beans.
The Food Chart was given to Maxine Eschrich.
Vickie Johnson read an article on “Eight Reasons Why Dogs Should Sleep on Your Bed.”
The program was by Jessie Skillman on “Breaking the Cycle of Season Changes With Our Weight Loss.”
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the The TOPS Prayer.
