Fire prevention week at Port Allegany

It’s Fire Prevention Week and the Port Alleany Star Hose Fire Co. #1 made their first stop of 2019 at Weekland’s Wee Care Monday morning.

Leading the FPW Crew, as he has for over 25 years, is Fire Chief Kevin Ernst.

Throughout the week fireman will visit local schools, day cares, and the Senior Center to help educate the public on fire safety. In addition, an open House will be held Thursday from 5 — 8 p.m. at the fire hall.
