OLEAN, N.Y. — Southern Tier Catholic School and Archbishop Walsh Academy volunteers have been hard at work for months creating an unforgettable disco experience for its Eagles Gala Auction — Disco Fever!
The Eagles Gala Auction will take place from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the school, 208 N. 24th St. All proceeds from this event benefit the schools.
The evening will be filled with everything that is best about a night at the disco, according to organizers. Decorations create the energy and excitement that comes with spending a night dancing to one’s favorite disco songs. Guests will get the opportunity to bid on a wide range of items during the silent auctions as well as a live auction. This year, the live auction will feature items like a luxurious Florida trip as well as unique pieces of art.
The evening starts at 5:30 p.m. with appetizers, drinks and the opening of the silent auction areas spaced around the school. The event continues with dinner catered by Finnerty’s Tap Room of Ellicottville, followed by the live auction.
A limited number of tickets are available for this event, and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are $75 per person and include appetizers, drinks, buffet dinner and the opportunity to bid. Interested parties can purchase tickets or a sponsorship by visiting the schools’ website at www.stcswalsh.org. Additionally, the auction catalog will be available online the week of the event to view all items up for bid.
Dress is cocktail or theme attire.
