The Connected Care Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 9 at the Erie VAMC in Conference Room 2C, 2nd floor.
Erie VA Medical Center invites Veterans, their families and all VA employees to attend the Connected Care Fair to learn about new advances in telehealth and how to receive the best care…from anywhere! New telehealth technologies make receiving care from home, work or even on the road even easier.
Free Veteran flu shot clinics will be held on Saturdays, with drive-thru flu shot services available for all veterans at that time.
The clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Oct 12 at the following locations:
Erie VA Medical Center, 1st Floor Main Lobby (Drive-thru services available in parking garage)
Ashtabula VA CBOC — 2044 Lambros Lane, Ashtabula, OH
Meadville VA CBOC — 16954 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA
A second clinic will be held on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at:
Bradford VA CBOC — 23 Kennedy St., Bradford, PA
Warren VA CBOC — 3 Farm Colony Drive, Warren, PA
Venango VA CBOC — 464 Allegheny Boulevard, Franklin, PA

The Domestic Violence Awareness Resource Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct 22.
The event, which will be held at Erie VAMC in the second floor Conference Rooms, will be held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Representatives will be on hand to provide information to Veterans, their loved ones and VA Employees on available VA and community-based resources to help those impacted by unhealthy relationships.
Finally, the Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony will be held Nov. 9.
The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at Veterans Stadium (corner of 26th & State Street). The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Elementary School. Groups and organizations that are interested in marching in the parade can contact Ken Sawdey at 814-866-9565. For those who want to show their support and don’t plan on marching in the parade, watchers are encouraged to line the streets and show support that way for local veterans.
