ERIE — The Bradford Area Golf Association in Bradford and the Corner Restaurant in Smethport have been cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
According to the bureau, on Aug. 7, the Bradford Area Golf Association, 1401 W. Warren Road, Bradford, failed to break empty liquor bottles within 24 hours and failed to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation of the business for a period of 2 years, preceding Aug. 7. A citation was issued Sept. 16.
The Corner Restaurant, 437 W. Main St., Smethport, permitted an individual under 18 years of age to be in a portion of the licensed premises where smoking was permitted on Feb. 22 and May 3, according to the bureau. A citation was issued Sept. 30.
The charges for both businesses will be taken before an administrative law judge, who can impose fines or license suspensions.
