The 13th annual Trunk or Treat event scheduled Oct. 31 in Bradford will feature free candy, games, hotdogs and a band performance.
The Halloween event, organized by Grace Lutheran Church and Open Arms Church of Bradford, will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church Community Life Center on Mechanic Street.
Trunks will be decked out, and people will be dressed up, all carrying a cartoon theme.
“The event gets bigger and bigger each year,” said Open Arms connections coordinator Alex Davis. “This year we are inviting community organizations and businesses to take part in Trunk or Treat.”
Trunks will be judged on how they show the theme. Prizes will be awarded.
Inside the Community Life Center children and their families will find free hot dogs and water along with free games and face painting and more candy. There will also be a free Family Fun Gift Basket raffle.
In addition, After Today, formerly known as Chamber, will perform at Trunk or Treat.
Donations of candy or cash may be dropped off at either church. Organizations and businesses wishing to get involved may also contact either church.
