COUDERSPORT— A free stargazing program will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 12 at Cherry Springs State Park, 4639 Cherry Springs Road, Coudersport.
The park is located 12 miles from Route 6 in Galeton via West Branch Road and 15 miles from Coudersport via Route 44.
Join park staff in the Night Sky Viewing Area for the Full Moon and Planet Watch, where participants will take a journey to the moon to explore some of its fascinating features from highlands to volcanic plains and discover where lunar landings took place. Afterwards, take an up close look at planets and other celestial objects through park telescopes.
