ERIE — Two McKean County businesses were fined for liquor law violations, the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement office in Erie announced Tuesday.
The two businesses include Kane Beer, 501 N. Fraley St., Kane, and Hotel Holley, 153 Main St., Bradford.
According to the bureau, an adjudication was issued to Kane Beer on Aug. 26 for selling alcohol to an 18 year-old minor on June 12.
An adjudication was issued to Hotel Holley on Aug. 30 for permitting smoking in a public place where not permitted between Aug. 2, 2018 and May 16, 2019 and failing to adhere to additional restrictions as conditions of an agreement with the board between Aug. 26, 2018 and May 28, 2019, according to the bureau.
Charges against both establishments were brought before an administrative law judge, who ordered penalties.
The bureau reported Kane Beer was ordered to pay a fine of $1,250, while Hotel Holley was ordered to pay a fine of $600.
In addition, a citation was issued to Hotel Holley on Sept. 20 for failing to adhere to additional restrictions as conditions of an agreement with the board on June 12.
The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge.
