What made you decide to become a first responder?
My father was a volunteer fire chief and we all were involved in that service growing up. It is a great feeling to be able to help someone in need and the sense of accomplishment that goes along with that.
Who is your favorite superhero?
I don’t really have much background in the superhero world. Probably Captain Caveman, or the Pink Panther
What is your favorite part of the job:
I enjoy serving the community. Bradford Township residents put a great deal of faith and trust in our small department and I get a lot of joy and pride in knowing and serving our residents.
Family and pets:
Married with three children, My oldest daughter is currently serving in the U.S. Army, my son is 14 and goes to school at Bradford High and my youngest daughter is 11 and attends Fretz Middle School. I have 2 dogs, a cat and a rabbit.
What is the one thing you want your community to know about what you do?
To do this job day in and day out, you must have a level of dedication that is well above most professions. We see people at their worst, and sometimes under circumstances that both they and us would like to forget. This job becomes a part of you, both good and bad. The support of our residents and the community means the world to us that do this everyday.
