Four candidates for office in McKean County will be special guests at Dems and Drinks, a monthly get-together for Democrats, slated for 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday at the Model T in Derrick City.

Among the candidates are Cliff Lane of Turtlepoint, incumbent, and newcomer Kortney Regis of Duke Center, who are running as a team to capture two of the three slots for McKean County commissioner in the Nov. 5 election.

Also expected to attend are Jeff Carson of Bradford, a Democratic candidate for McKean County coroner, who is also running for Bradford Township Supervisor; and Sherri Swanson of Hazel Hurst, who captured the Democratic nod for McKean County treasurer.

All candidates — including Republicans and those seeking election in municipal races — are invited to attend the event. The general public is also welcome to meet the candidates and socialize with county Democrats.
