RIDGWAY — A Johnsonburg man may be facing charges after selling a stolen handgun to a possible felon at 5:47 p.m. on Tuesday on Wilcox Road in Ridgway Township.

Ridgway-based state police said Nathan Suranofsky, 26, stole a handgun from Daniel Suranofsky, 52, also of Johnsonburg. Suranofsky then reportedly sold the stolen handgun to a possible felon, not allowed to possess a firearm.

Police report the defendant was jailed for a probation violation. Charges are pending a consultation with the district attorney, according to police.
