The Twin Tier Camera Club (TTCC) will be hosting an event at the Kinzua Bridge State Park on Oct. 5.
A photography workshop will be held at 11 a.m., and the local Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk opportunity from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Kinzua Bridge State Park.
Terry Palmer, a member of TTCC and juried artisan of the Wilds Cooperative of Pennsylvania, will be leading the local walk. Questions about the Photo Walk can be sent to Palmer at tpalmer0127@yahoo.com.
The photo walk was originally created to provide a platform for photographers of all skill levels to join together and spend a few hours socializing, capturing images and sharing with like-minded people. Photo walkers will have the opportunity to upload their favorite picture to the Photo Walk contest for a chance to win prizes, like a DSLR, gift cards, apps and camera bags. A grand prize winner and 10 finalists will be selected by world famous photographer Scott Kelby himself.
The walk is free, though pre-registration is required at http://worldwidephotowalk.com. To register, locate your city and complete the free sign-up form. Participants can connect socially before, during and after the event using the hashtag #WWPW2019 on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The walk is being held in conjunction with TTCC’s Kinzua Bridge Photography Workshop, boasting a variety of seminars and activities, including a limited access night photography lab in the valley (to pre-register for the Night Sky photography lab, email bart.barton475@outlook.com).
The photography workshop will touch on black & white, macro, infrared/ultraviolet and night sky photography, as well as provide photo opportunities with various subjects such as antique cars and trucks, horses, models and cosplayers. No experience is necessary and there will be many photographers there to answer questions.
