KANE — A 2-year-old girl has been missing since Aug. 1 — the day her mother removed the girl from her Kane home.
There is currently no indication that the child is in danger, according to Lewis Run-based police. Charges are pending against the child’s biological mother, Faith Marvin, 22, and Marvin’s boyfriend, Kenneth Goodman Jr., 33.
At 10:49 a.m. Tuesday, the girl’s biological father, Paul McMahon, 25, of Kane — who was granted full custody of 2-year-old Maggie Grace McMahon — made a report to state police regarding interference with child custody.
Marvin took Maggie from Paul McMahon’s home on Aug. 1 and failed to return her, police said. Marvin’s whereabouts are unknown, but it is believed that she is traveling with Goodman.
Police did not say if the mother initially had permission to take the child or when McMahon was granted full custody.
Police ask that anyone with information on where Marvin or Goodman are call the Lewis Run station at 814-368-9230.
Online case dockets for Marvin and Goodman state that each is charged with concealment of the whereabouts of a child and interference with custody of children, both third-degree felonies.
