Most of the charges against a Port Allegany man accused of child abuse were bound to McKean County Court at a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge William Todd.
Gage Ortiz-Rodriguez, 21, will now face the following charges at the county level: involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16, a first-degree felony; child pornography and sexual abuse of children-photograph, videotape or depict on computer or film a sex act, second-degree felonies; and indecent assault of a person less than 16, a second-degree misdemeanor.
A second-degree felony charge of aggravated indecent assault was withdrawn, court records indicate.
Court records allege that between January 2015 and June 4, 2019, Rodriguez took photographs that were found on a thumb drive and on his phone depicting him and a juvenile in sexual positions; he also allegedly possessed sexual photos of two juveniles.
He is in McKean County Jail in lieu of a total of $140,000 for the two cases.

Lewis Run-based state police had alleged that Rollins, while an inmate at McKean County Jail, punched another woman about 25 times and kicked her twice during an argument.
At the time of the alleged assault, Rollins was — and still is — in jail awaiting the outcome of two cases in which she is accused of selling crack cocaine. Bail in the three cases totals $85,000.

He was released from McKean County Jail Monday on $20,000 unsecured bail.
