T.O.P.S. Chapter PA #1704
Members of Take Off Pounds Sensibly, Chapter PA #1704, met from 6:45 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in Room #206, Hooker Fulton Building, Bradford.
The meeting was called to order by Bonnie B., the chapter treasurer, with the recitation of the T.O.P.S. Pledge.
Roll call followed, with eight members weighing in and reporting a 0.6-pound loss.
Weight recorder Doug C. reported the end results for the month of August. There were no king or queen qualifiers for this month; however, there was a 3.4-pound loss recorded for the group as a whole.
A new member was welcomed, Corey C. from a Chapter out of Olean, N.Y.
As a reminder, this years Fall Rally will be held on Sept. 21 at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 E. Corydon St. in Bradford, rear entrance. The Rally will be hosted by PA T.O.P.S. Chapter #16, which meets at this same location on Thursday afternoons. All local chapters, under the leadership of Area Captain Silvana Reed, are invited to attend. Guests are also welcome. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Off street parking and handicap accessibility are available.
This weeks item to avoid is all soda pop, and members are to try kiwi.
