CLARION — Ray Dent, a nursing major from St. Marys, and Trevor Olney, a paralegal from Coudersport, were among the three Clarion University cadets that completed a ROTC summer internship.
Dent completed his internship at Fort Bliss, Texas. He was one of the nine cadets who completed their summer ROTC training at Fort Knox, Ky. and was awarded the Recondo Badge for Superior Performance. He scored in the top five percent of cadets on confidence courses, land navigation, marksmanship, first aid, CBRN and the 12-mile foot march.
Trevor Olney completed Army Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Benning, Ga. during the summer.
