UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — Hannah Lenze of St. Marys, Pa., was named to the dean’s list at John Carroll University for the spring semester for earning a quality grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

WILLIAMSPORT — Three local students graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, a special mission affiliate of The Pennsylvania State University, following the summer term.

Local graduates include Charles William Krobot of Ridgway, an Associate of Applied Science degree in heating, ventilation & air conditioning technology; Timothy James Lamont of Eldred, an Associate of Applied Science degree in heating, ventilation & air conditioning technology, with honors, and a certificate in plumbing, with distinction; and Frank David Truden of Kane, an Associate of Applied Science degree in welding technology.

WILKES-BARRE — Wilkes University awarded degrees to three local students at the summer commencement ceremony held on Sept. 8.

Jodi Flexman of Duke Center, Jamie Newcomb of Ulysses and Laura Strawderman of Emporium each received a Master of Science in Education.
