BAHS Alumni Association

The Bradford Area High School Alumni Association held its August meeting at the Model T Inn with 20 members attending

Discussion included the upcoming Oct. 5 banquet scheduled for the Bradford Club with committee assignments being finalized. Reservation receipts were reported to be running ahead of those for the 2018 affair to date. Also, new member applications have caused total membership to exceed that of last year.

The group decided to hold an Alumni Flea Market to be combined with farmers’ market/vendor tables as a fundraiser to supplement the scholarship fund. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 12 at Hill Memorial Church with proceeds from the association tables plus vendor fees going to the fund. Any donated items appropriate for sale will be appreciated, and pick up or delivery may be arranged by calling 368-6892.

The next meeting is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Model T Inn.
