SMETHPORT — A Roulette woman pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court for drug delivery and endangering allegations from 2017.
Kimberly A. Bisher, 28, entered the guilty plea to charges of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on March 6, 2017, Bisher delivered about .02 grams of buprenorphine and 10 tramadol pills to a confidential information with the McKean County Drug Task Force in exchange for $45; During the sale, Bisher left an infant alone in her vehicle while she got into the confidential informant’s vehicle to complete the transaction.
Bisher is to be entered into the State Intermediate Punishment Program, and a sentencing date has yet to be set.
Also in court, Geromia R. Schoonover, 36, of Port Allegany, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On June 1, Schoonover, while an inmate at McKean County Jail, punched another inmate in the face and body about five times, causing injuries including a hematoma to his face, according to Shaffer. Schoonover will be sentenced Sept. 26.
Donald W. Peterson Jr., 51, of Cyclone, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On June 19, Peterson picked up a male and threw him to the ground, kicking him while he was on the ground and causing a right hip fracture, said Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade. Peterson will be sentenced Sept. 26.
John T. Winn, 33, of Bainbridge, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. On May 24, Winn caused a corrections officer at the McKean County Jail to fall with him during a restraint, dislocating the corrections officer’s shoulder, Shaffer said. Winn will be sentenced Sept. 26.
James A. Cobb, 21, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of theft by deception and possession of drug paraphernalia, while his codefendant, Trinity C. Poland, 19, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by deception. Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy explained that on April 16, Cobb was using fake $20 at stores for purchases and exchanging them for $5 bills. He will be sentenced Sept. 26.
Poland tried to make a purchase with a fake $20, Murphy said. Poland will serve six days of day-reporting at a community service location, as well as 18 months of probation.
Jennifer G. Carpenter, 34, of Crosby, pleaded guilty to charges of theft by unlawful taking. From May 9-22, Carpenter took $370 in cash from Herzog’s Valley Store, said Murphy. Carpenter will be sentenced Oct. 24.
Joseph L. Frontino, 38, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault. On May 4, Frontino hurt his spouse during a mutual consent altercation, said Shaffer. Frontino will be sentenced Sept. 26.
Dakota R. Allen, 22, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of simple assault. According to Shade, on May 28, Allen punched and kicked his stepfather during a mutual fight. Allen will be sentenced Sept. 12.
Jessica N. Courteau, 28, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She will be sentenced Oct. 24.
Misty R. Mihalko, 34, of Smethport, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She will be sentenced Sept. 12.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Louis E. Imbrogno, 26, of Johnsonburg, for indecent exposure and open lewdness; Nicholas J. Sands, 31, of Salamanca, N.Y., for DUI-general impairment and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Allison M. Blair, 22, of Smethport, for DUI-alcohol.
