SHINGLEHOUSE — Vendors are needed for the annual Pleasant Street Festival, to be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21 in Shinglehouse.
Oswayo Valley Memorial Library needs vendors for the event to be a success.
Participants are asked to bring their own set-up of table and chairs, and, since the event is held outdoors, they may want to bring a canopy. Also, organizers ask that vendors donate one item to the OV Memorial Library’s Chinese auction.
Anyone who is interested is asked to stop by the library to pick up an application.
Applications and money are due by Sept. 14. Anyone with questions can contact Marjorie Milliken at 697-7355 or by email at tess10ovlibrary@outlook.com.
This year’s Fall Festival will include free child fingerprinting kits with local police, blood pressure checks by the Shinglehouse Fire Department, local crafty vendors, raffles, a Chinese auction, free children’s face painting, food, street music by local DJ Keith Hopkins.
At 1 p.m., there will be a special gymnastics performance by students from G2 Gymnastics & Fitness, and at 1:45 p.m. the Shinglehouse Community Choir will perform excerpts from their summer show “Blast From The Past.”
